IMPORTANT NOTICE
Effective in June, newsletters will be available to Stow High School Alumni Association
members only. They will be emailed to all members or by USPS "snail mail" to those
members without email. A lifetime membership in the SHSAA is only $28.00 and gives you
discounts on SHSAA events, helps provide scholarships, help for needy students &
families, and participation in various community projects. There is no fee for those alumni
who are over 65 years old. Also, married Stow alumni can join for the same $28.00 lifetime
fee. Even if you attended Stow High School but did not graduate from Stow, you are
welcome to join us!

ATTENTION: CLASS OF '62

I am trying to contact as many of our classmates as possible, in order to have current
information to able to inform them of the plans for our 50th reunion. The planning
committee is being put together as you read this article. Eighty-eight classmates have
responded to my e-mails and telephone calls to confirm their current information. We also,
unfortunately, have eighteen that have deceased due to accidents, health problems and
natural causes. Our prayers go out to their families and friends. This is a total of one
hundred and six, which leaves sixty-six still not confirmed.
I am trying to have everyone write a biography for their profile on our web site and all that
information will go into a memory book that I am putting together. The book is to be
available for the reunion. Also, if you have any current pictures of yourself to show a “Then
and Now” pictures on the web site and for the memory book., please email them to me. Past
class pictures, past reunions and prom pictures and events are needed if you have them. The
sooner you get theses bios and pictures to me the sooner we can get the books printed up. If
any changes come up, let me know.
I have been working on this project for about 6 months. Our web site is: http://classreport.
org/usa/oh/stow/smfhs/1962/ of which I am the administrator. You can go to the web site and
enter your information and edit any changes. You can post messages on the site. Any
pictures and changes to the web site I will have to do it.
For those of you not aware that the alumni association has a web site, it is: www.
stowhighalumni.com A lot of information about the association and up coming events are
posted for all alumni. I encourage everyone in our class to join. Right now we (our class)
have only 16 members. To join contact Laurie Graham Tiffany at
laurietiffany@stowhighalumni.com. By the time it is all over, I would like to see all of as
members of the association.
